anna and jonathan | tie the knot | the duke mansion

I have been dy-ing to share these images with you from Anna and Jonathan's magnolia-themed Duke Mansion wedding from May.

These two couldn't be any sweeter. Having met at Elon University, Jonathan surprised Anna with a proposal during Elon's Homecoming weekend.

Being that both ceremony and reception were outside at the Duke, Anna wanted to embrace the surrounding gardens at the Duke Mansion by incorporating magnolias into her design. Because weather was a concern, Anna and Jonathan decided to take part in an old wives' tale by burying a bottle of bourbon upside-down at the wedding venue weeks before the wedding. On wedding day (a gorgeous, sunny day I may add), Anna and Jonathan dug the bottle back up and maaaaaay have taken a sip. Or two.

Please enjoy some of my favorite images from Lauren Rosenau Photography.

alex and dan | tie the knot | foundation for the carolinas

Alex and Dan are geometric-shape loving, craft beer drinking kinda people... so we decided to bring it all together for their wedding at Foundation for the Carolinas this past April.

We landed on the idea of pairing local craft beers with fun foods for the cocktail reception and bringing in geometric shape coasters as escort and place cards. This along with terrariums and custom growlers as table numbers, we had ourselves a wedding that screamed Alex and Dan.

Please enjoy some images of the day courtesy of the talented Kasey Loftin Photography.
