I won't mention how long it's been since I blogged if you won't. Deal?
Crazy how time just flies, but I can assure you that we are anything but bored over at Favor Me Events. It is only January and 2015 is looking and measuring up to be a huge year with half of our calendar nearly booked.
One of those booked dates is for this sweet, sweet couple- Vanessa and David, who are set to marry on May 23rd at Saint Patrick's, followed by dinner and dancing at the Ritz Carlton Charlotte.
Vanessa was born in Canada, but currently lives in Aruba. David was born in Venezuela, but currently lives in Charlotte. They plan to move together to Canada after the wedding. Whew! Their passports are well used!
The couple actually met as children when David's aunt lived near to Vanessa's family in Aruba. It took college in Charlotte to bring them back together.

Please meet Meghan and Patrick. This sweet duo is set to marry next May at one of my favorite Charlotte venues-- The Duke Mansion!
Meghan is a girl after my own heart. Not only is she extremely organized-- she is a girl who knows what she wants! Meghan came to me envisioning a romantic dinner on the Duke Mansion lawn... think twinkly lights, lush floral and candle light--lots of candle light! Oh, how I can't wait for this wedding!

Yikes! To say that I have dropped the ball on the 'blogging ball' is an understatement. I am not going to lie, pregnancy while being a business owner and due during the busiest time of the year is no joke. While I absolutely LOVE being pregnant and LOVE that I am about to be a mommy-- I have to admit that the timing of all of it has made my life interesting to say the least. This baby boy already has a sense of humor!
On another note, please meet Favor Me Events couple, Katie and TJ. This adorable mid-western couple will be getting married on August 23rd at The Foundation for the Carolinas. Katie and I have been planning and designing her day for months now-- and I honestly can not wait to see all of it come together. A lover of greenery and lush florals-- think 'inside meets outside' for their wedding inspiration.

Funny what weather can do! My plans for today dramatically changed due to this incredible snow storm that Charlotte is currently experiencing. I was supposed to be heading to the Foundation for the Carolinas in less than an hour for a rehearsal for a Valentine's Day wedding. Instead, I have spent the day speaking with vendors and postponing said wedding until Saturday. I can truly say that this is a first!
So, since I will not be heading up to the Foundation for the Carolinas, I thought that I would blog about another upcoming wedding there.
Meet Favor Me Events couple, Sarah and Michael. This adorable duo is set to marry on June 7th at Foundation for the Carolinas (I doubt we should have any chance of snow that day).

Hello, winter wonderland! Charlotte is under a blanket of snow today and it reminds me of my childhood up North in Pennsylvania. Although, I am not sure that this would constitute a 'snow day' back in the day!
As much as I love a good snow fall, I am sooooo looking forward to warmer weather. So, let's meet the newest members to the Favor Me Events family, Ashley and Taylor. Their August wedding at The Foundation for the Carolinas is sure to be hot, hot, hot. Umm, can we talk about how crazy beautiful this couple is?!
I have had the pleasure to spend some quality time with Ashley these past few days as we meet design vendors and finalize her look for the wedding. Think mints, golds and soft blush hues. Yes, please!

I suppose you could say that Catherine and Mike's relationship was 'in the numbers...'
This adorable pair met at Wake Forest while both obtaining their degree in accounting. I love a good excel sheet too, so who can blame em?
Catherine and Mike are set to marry next June at Foundation for the Carolinas. We have been planning and designing, and boy is this going to be a gorgeous wedding! Mike's family owns a printing and signage company, so helllllloooooo custom signage {gah, I can't wait!}!
