itali and william e-session {styling}

There are times when you meet a couple and you just fall in love with them. This is one of those couples.

I could seriously eat Itali {pronounced Italy} and William up! They were up for anything the day of their shoot-- even agreeing to lie on the chalk-covered ground to get this shot {which happens to be my favorite of the day}:

The shoot took place in Uptown at Marshall Park and was photographed by the always fun and super talented, Critsey Rowe. Here are a few more shots from the day.

Itali and William are set to marry in December of this year. Congratulations to you both!

Happy Monday!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of working with Allison and Matt on their

"Old Hollywood Glam" wedding at The Mint Museum Uptown.
Can't wait to share some photos of the day with you!

In the mean time, here are some shots from Allison's bridal session taken at the breathtaking quarry at Carrigan Farms in Mooresville. Photography by the talented Lindsey Hartsell of Lindsey Lee Photography.

Stay tuned for Allison and Matt's wedding photos!

jessica and camden {engagement session}

Meet Favor Me Events couple, Jessica and Camden!

Saying this couple is out-going, full of energy and just hands down hilarious is an understatement. And their story is nothing less than comical and fitting.

Plain and simple, Jess and Cam met at da club. Cam was dancing, which caught the eye of Jess and so she struck up a conversation with him. After exchanging numbers, Cam called Jess a few days later for a date but by that time Jess had forgotten who Cam was {apparently his dancing was not all that memorable}. But Jess decided that she would meet Cam out anyway. Turns out, it was one of the best decisions she could have made.

Their wedding is set for October with the ceremony taking place at First United Methodist Church and the reception at The Mint Museum Uptown. Jess and Cam have decided to keep the theme modern and clean while incorporating their favorite Fall colors- eggplant purple and burnt orange.

Jess and Cam also have hearts as big as their personalities. In lieu of traditional gifts, they have opted to have guests make contributions to Saint Jude's Children Research Hospital.

Here are a few shots from their recent e-session with Kristin Byrum Photography.

Can't express how happy I am to be a part of your wedding. So excited for you both!

melissa and scott e-session {styling}

As with all of my e-session styling clients, one of my first questions to Melissa was,
"So, how did Scott propose?" Melissa hesitated and asked me if I wanted the real or the PG version.  Of course I opted for the real version.

Scott had planned a surprise romantic evening at home complete with rose petals, wine and a bubble bath {Melissa's favorite!} Once she told me that the actual proposal took place in a tub, I knew that I had to get my hands on one for their engagement session with

Critsey Rowe Photography.

And after much searching, success! Totally worth it by the way... I just love the tub shots!!

Melissa and Scott also share the love of wine. And while they do not normally have times for picnics in the park, they both decided that after the shoot they would start to make time for them. How gorgeous is Melissa by the way?

Great working with you both! Congratulations on your engagement!
