lori and brandon {tie the knot} the mint museum uptown

We are exactly one week away from Thanksgiving and I am so ready for the holiday season to begin. This chilly weather has me craving hot cocoa and fire-side chats...

I can't believe that Lori and Brandon's wedding was over a month ago {and actually my last wedding of the 2013 season}.

Lori and Brandon were married on October 12th at The Belk Chapel with dinner and dancing at The Mint Museum Uptown. I don't think that Lori left the dance floor that night.

Lori truly outdid herself with all sorts of personal touches {she hand painted each and every one of her invites. Yep. Each and every one.} Not to mention the backdrop behind the sweetheart table, the escort cards, runners for the table {and this is just the tip of the iceberg}.  I am not normally an advocate for DIY for your wedding day, but I would consider this 'DIY done right.'

Please enjoy some photos by Jenna from Red White and Green Photography. Is it just me or do the 'getting ready' photos look like they were taken on a balcony somewhere in Paris? {They weren't. That would be the Dunhill Hotel, in case you were wondering!}

Thank you to the vendors that helped to make this night a success!

Lori and Brandon, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your planning process. You certainly helped wrap up my 2013 wedding season in style {and with a bang!}

with love.

lauren and justin {tie the knot} the duke mansion

Each year it seems like there is one venue that I frequent. This year, it was hands down The Duke Mansion. Not that I am complaining, the space is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is fantastic to work with {shout out to my girl, Gina Bailey!}

Wrapping up my 'year of the Duke' was Lauren and Justin's wedding on October 5th. You may remember this sweet couple from here.

Lauren and Justin share a love for dessert, so it was no surprise when they decided to incorporate sweets throughout their reception, including custom made bon-bons and a visit from Ben and Jerry's.

Justin's partner in his law firm performed the ceremony which made it extremely personal and left not a dry eye.

Please enjoy some photos taken by the super sweet, and equally as talented, Dan and Candice Lanning of The Beautiful Mess.

Thank you to the vendors that made this day extra special!
