I think this should be the official quote for 2020.

Like many couples in 2020, Julia and Evan had planned a large wedding and reception only to pivot their plans thanks to COVID.

Couples decided to pivot in different ways- some postponing, some canceling all together and some deciding to host a micro wedding. Julia and Evan decided to keep their original 11/20/20 wedding date and have a small wedding in her parent's back yard (and then plan to have a big party next year at Quail Hollow Country Club).

I am so excited to share some photos from the day (and look forward to planning their large celebration for a little later in this year)

amy and vincent | tie the knot | the vanlandingham estate

Two days in to 2021, we celebrated the wedding of Amy and Vincent. Like most couples planning last year, 2020 was not all that kind to them and made us pivot our plans for their wedding- adjusting the venue just two months before the wedding. 

We originally planned to have the wedding in a country club setting, but because of Covid restrictions- we needed to move the wedding to a venue that could accommodate a tent. Enter the newly remodeled Van Landingham Estate. With just two months before the wedding, we adjusted the design and plans to go from an indoor ballroom to a tent. And I have to say-- I couldn't love it more!
