In the wedding industry, we see trends come and go and lately - the trend is little to no color. And while it is lovely, it is always refreshing when a bride WANTS color. Enter Katie.
Katie came to me last year with the task of creating a (tastefully done) art deco-inspired wedding. I was up to the challenge and I personally can not be happier with how the design came together.
In late March, Katie and Michael exchanged vows in Silverman Pavilion at Foundation for the Carolinas. After the ceremony, we led guests into Legacy Hall for cocktail hour while the ceremony space was 'flipped' for reception. This is something that we have done many times at FFTC, and the art of the 'flip' has become a well-oiled machine.
The day was a bit rainy, not allowing for many outside photos... but no amount of gloom could rain on this sweet duo's parade. Heck, they say rain is good luck, no?
